F. Grand Prix Round

Participants that are qualified to compete in the Grand Prix:
Category Champions or choirs selected by the Jury.
Participants in the Grand Prix will perform 2 songs, consisting of:
  • One song previously performed in the earlier round.
  • One free-choice song that must not be the same as any song performed in the earlier round.
Performance duration is 10 minutes, calculated from the first note of the first song until the end of the last song, including pauses between songs.

G. Venue

The Grand Prix round will take place at Auditorium Q Building, Petra Christian University, Jalan Siwalankerto 121-131, Surabaya, East Java.
The competition will be held in 2 halls: the Petra Performance Hall (Entrance Hall) for the main competition and the Auditorium of Q Building for the Grand Prix round and Awarding Night.
Petra Performance Hall serves as the main competition venue for festival categories during Petra Cantare! 2027.
Auditorium Q Building is dedicated to the Grand Prix round and the Awarding Night, becoming the final stage for category winners.
All category winners from Petra Cantare! Choral Festival 2027 will participate in the Grand Prix round in Auditorium Q, followed by the official awarding session at the same hall.
